The basics: the name is Kaitlin, I’m a fourteen year old girl from Australia. My dA username is sazlik, and I found you all through the link in AestheticDevil’s signature.

So far as art goes, I’m no expert, but I like to try my hand at a variety. Photography, drawing, photomanips, a little painting here and there. I own no tablet, unfortunately, so not so much digitial painting-type stuff for me. (One of these days I’ll get a job, and consequently money, and, in turn, a tablet. Ahhhh. I can only dream.)

Sooooo…hi!

Hmm, well…I guess it was sort of an ongoing thing. From memory, I got some watercolour pencils when I was about eight and had a thing for drawing out-of-proportion people for a while. Used to make signature graphics for a forum I was a member of, too. I joined Gaia Online when I was maybe ten or so, and art is big there, so I worked some more. People gradually got me various art supplies and things…and then the day after my 13th birthday I joined dA. That was good–sort of a reason to finish things. Plus there was art class at school, I suppose.

I identify with what you said, about places like DA and EW being reasons to finish your artwork. I’ve definitely found that to be true for me as well. ^_^
