 Hello!! My name is Melissa….I’m 19, I’m from the western NY buffalo area, but I go to SUNY Oswego as a sophomore majoring in Fine Arts. I recently started apprenticing under a tattoo artist in Oswego. So aside from my traditional art, I’ll be exploring that as well; which I’m very excited about. Also, ever since I was interested in drawing, I also took a liking to photography. Those two hobbies have been progressing side by side throughout my art career. While I never took a class in photography, I continue to experiment and basically have fun it, while learning at the same time.
I’m pretty excited about this website because I love deviant art on it’s own, but to have another way to meet artists as enthusiastic as I am about not only getting attention for your own work, but enjoying others work as well, is wonderful. I can’t wait for this site to grow.
Hopefully I’ll get to know you all more eventually. I’ll see you around the two sites I’m sure!

Hey Melissa!
Tattoo apprentice eh? That is so cool, I really hope to see some of your tattoos later on! Personally I’d love to try tattooing some time, but obviously you can’t erase when you go wrong…  I blame Miami Ink.
I think we all will have a great time here on the site and hopefully become great friends!

Nice to have you, Melissa. Tattoos are a ton of fun to design. I’ve designed a few myself. One of these days I’m going to save up the money to get some pretty wicked tattoos. I’ve heard that one can make a decent living designing tattoos… making $50-$500 for one 11×17 sheet if you’re not well known and $500-$2000 if you’re pretty well known or they just love your stuff. I have been thinking for a while that it would be a good idea for supplimenting my income.

haha yessss. i’m learning slowly but hopefully i’ll be able to post some of my stuff once i get better! i can’t wait to learn more
